VOID.
LACK OF DEFINITION. CHANGE. ETHICS THAT TURN INTO AESTHETICS.
A RUGGED SPACE. DEVOID OF UNEQUIVOCAL CONNOCATIONS, INSIDE AN EARLY XX-CENTURY BUILDING.
HOUSE, STUDIO, GALLERY INTEGRATED INTO A TOTAL, PROGRAMMATICALLY FLUID UNITY.
THE CLASSIC TYPOLOGY OF THAT EARLY OF THE EARLY XX-CENTURY FLAT - A SUCCESSION OF ROOMS GIVING ON AND AISLE - IS KEPT AS IT IS YET IT IS, YET IT IS IDEALLY DECONSTRUCTED.
THE PURENESS OF THE PROJECT ERASES ANY DOGMATISM. THE ORGANIC NON-PLACE, BEING OPEN TO CHANGE AND DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES, IS ALIVE AND PULSATING.
ERA: AS PAST, AS EPIC, AS INTELLIGENCE.
WALLS ARE SCRUFFY PEELED OFF THEIR ORIGINAL SKIN, THEY GET A NEW CHANGING ONE. FURNISHING IS LIMITED TO VERY FEW PIECES: ELONGATED MIRRORS, SHARP-EDGED FURNITURE PIECES, WARDROBES TAHT TELL OF DIFFERENT MOVES THROUGH THE DIFFERENT DECOLLAGE OF THEIR EXTERIORS.
THE RARIFIED PURENESS OF THE PROJECT CLASHES
WITH THE BRUTALITY OF THE DECADENCE, EITHER REAL OR RECREATED. MISTAKES FAR FROM BEING AVOIDED, ARE WELCOMED AS A CATALYSIS TO BE CREATIVE PROCESS; EXTREME STRICTNESS WORKS AS AN ANECTODE LAISSEZ-FAIRE. WHAT IS NOT THERE, WHAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT AWAY DEFINES THE SPACE JUST LIKE WHAT HAS BEEN LEFT. WORKING IN THE SUBTRACTION MULTIPLE POSSIBLITIES - OF USE AND INTERPRETATION - IN PLACE OF REDUCING THEM.
THE POETICS OF SCARIFICATION DENIES STILLNESS. ONE YEAR FROM NOW EVERYTHING COULD BE DIFFERENT.

Patrizia Tenti, founder of ERASTUDIO, is a tuscan who grew up steeped in the culture and mentality of a Tuscany region in which the antique mentality of undivided art and architecture persisted through the talents of great historical minds like Giorgio Vasari, Piero della Francesca and Francesco Petrarca and many other artists. She has mainly specialized in architecture for marketing retail high luxury fashion and residential interiors working across the world (USA, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, France, etc.) in collaboration with outstanding fashion stylists such as: Prada, Helmut Lang, Ermano Scervino, Neil Barrett and superstar architects of various nationalities and generations such as; Oscar Niemeyer, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Rem Koolhas, Zaha Hadid, Mario Bellini etc. Throughout her career and her PHD research she has encountered contemporary art and artists, encounters which rapidly generated a steadfast dedication to the visual field in her life and work. With her collectible design gallery in Italy which she founded in 2010 she realized her dream: “it is so beautiful to live with art around you every day.” whereby “art” for her refers not only to fine art, but also architecture and art-design; objects both decorative and functional, a style of life where boundaries between oneself and art can begin to melt away.
